Joe Martinez

Founder & President

Joe Martinez was raised in a small farming town outside of Dos Palos, California. He often visited and worked in the fields with his father, who worked as a supervisor for a large grower, on the west side of the San Joaquin Valley. Through this, he learned first-hand the value of hard work and dedication it takes to operate successfully in the agricultural industry. Joe started his Insurance career in 1997, working as a Producer for local brokerages. He discovered a growing need for professional guidance, expertise, and service among his clients. In 2005, with the encouragement and support of his family and clients, he sought to fulfill that need by establishing De La Luz, Inc.

Today, as DLL Insurance Agency continues in its growth, Joe credits the success of the agency to the strong relationships built with our partners, carriers, clients, and a combined fifty years of experience among his team.

Greg J. Anderson, C.I.C.

Affiliate Partner

As a member of the leadership team of DLL Insurance Agency, Greg Anderson, a Certified Insurance Counselor, brings nineteen years of experience managing complex insurance programs for middle market to larger market clients. Greg has expertise in agriculture, contracting, manufacturing, non-profits, refuse and transportation related industries. In Greg’s first fifteen years in the industry he worked as a producing Agent for HRH Insurance and The Willis Group. He consistently placed among the leaders nationally working for one of the top agencies in the world. His responsibilities included developing and managing a group of businesses within the top five percent of the industry. Greg has built his career based on knowledge, integrity and character. As President of G.J. Anderson, Inc. (Risk Consulting) Greg brings additional value by advising clients in techniques to be better managers of liability, general risk management and safety programs.

Nicole Velasquez

Personal Lines Account Executive

Nicole began her insurance career in 2006 as a receptionist and worked her way up to become an insurance agent for DLL Insurance Agency, specializing in personal lines and commercial insurance. Building relationships with her customers is the foundation of Nicole’s business. A strong business relationship comes from building strong connections with customers. The better she knows her customers, the better her product recommendation and service. Nicole can develop an insurance plan for you that meets your every expectation. She will also be able to explain the coverage on your policy and provide great customer service.

Gaston Cignetti, LUTCF

Account Executive

Gaston is a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF). He brings years of experience as an adviser, and manages middle to larger market accounts by assisting in their insurance and risk management needs. Gaston will focus his expertise on agriculture and food processing operations. He is dedicated to offering his clients the most competitive rates, with value-added services to assist in the improvement of their overall risk-management and areas such as safety, liability, and other insurance programs.

Marianne Barcellos

Account Executive

Marianne’s combined background as a vineyard farmer and her 30 years of experience in agricultural insurance leaves her uniquely qualified to walk you through the various aspects of properly insuring your valuable assets.  Marianne works closely with our field, loss control and claims staff in providing a team oriented approach to filling her client’s needs.

Romelia Quiroz

Office Manager

Romelia has over 17 years of experience in the insurance industry. She has worked as an Assistant Account Manager, Account Manager, in the Accounting Department and currently an Office Manager. Her knowledge expands into both the Commercial and Personal Lines segments of our industry. Romelia has been with DLL Insurance Agency since July 2008. Her duties include servicing our clients insurance needs, maintaining the flow of the office, supervising office personnel and training setup.

Rosemary Lopez, CISR

Services Manager

Rosemary Lopez began her journey with DLL Insurance Agency in 2008. In her 15+ year career, she has become enormously well-versed in all lines of coverage. She is directly involved in strategic planning of service solutions for highly specialized accounts. Rosemary provides both a personalized and professional experience for all of her customers. Her innate drive, focus, and ability to motivate people have facilitated her transition into her role as an excellent mentor and trainer for all of DLL’s service staff.

Rosemary earned an Administrative Degree from Heald Business College of Fresno in 1996. She began her career in insurance in 1996 and attended the AD Banker Licensed Fire and Casualty program in early 1997. In 2003, Rosemary completed the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors program and became a Certified Insurance Service Representative.

Nicki Gutierrez

Business Development Director

Nicki joined DLL Insurance Agency in 2009. She brings a great attitude to the table as well as knowledge acquired through her career in insurance. Her rapid advancement to a senior account manager speaks to her drive and intelligence. Nicki obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the Craig School of Business at CSU Fresno in 2014.

Lupe Cisneros

Client Services Manager

Lupe Cisneros joined our team in 2011 as a receptionist and has worked her way up to a Farm Labor Contractor Licensing Specialist. She brings to our team her outstanding experience in Customer Service. Lupe is also a bilingual instructor for the English and Spanish 8 Hour Continuing Education Courses provided by Ag Safe.

Rebecca Bejarano

Account Manager

Rebecca brings DLL Insurance Agency 10 years of experience in commercial insurance programs. She specializes in general insurance servicing including large and complex commercial insurance products for the agricultural, construction, transportation and other industries. Additionally, she is in the process of completing her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Human Services. Rebecca’s energy and professionalism bring inspiration to our team and excellent service to our clients.

Monica Burgos

Account Manager

Monica Burgos began her insurance career in 2009, She joined our team in 2012 as a receptionist, and was quickly promoted to assistant account manager. Monica’s outstanding customer service and bilingual expertise are a great asset to our company. She is currently studying to obtain her P&C license.
